Q&A

Hi guys! So a few days ago, I asked you to send me some of your questions  about anything you wanted to know! So here are the answers, hope you like it 🙂

What do I need to eat before and after morning workouts, including protein and especially, what should we eat at 6 am before bbg? There are no “rules” when it comes to pre workout fuel. I always suggest to listen to your body, if you are not hungry early in the morning, then workout on an empty stomach and have a breakfast afterwards (including protein, complex carbs and healthy fat). If you are hungry but you don’t like to work out feeling full, then have a piece of fruit before your workout and then have your breakfast post workout. I personally can’t work out on an empty stomach so I would probably have a banana before working out.

Would you like to visit Russia? And if so, what will you most expect from this visit? I would love to visit Russia! I LOVE to travel and discover new places and Russia is definitely a country I plan to visit one day! I met a couple of friends a few years ago who live in Russia and I would love to see them again after all this time! I think that’s the only thing I would expect from this visit, I like to visit places without expecting anything actually and just let everything be more spontaneous 🙂 Who knows, maybe I’ll book a trip to Russia this year 😉

What recommendations do you have for someone looking to lose weight but limited physically after surgeries and nerve damage? I would recommend to take things slowly and listen to your body. Focus on light exercise for a while, try to walk a bit more each day and do what you can. Don’t beat yourself up! Your health and well being is more important than losing a few pounds. As long as you eat healthy and find ways to stay active without feeling any pain, you’ll have great results. It might be surprising, but just walking more can be amazing for you and for your weight loss journey! And remember, it’s 80% nutrition so focus on eating healthy and you’ll already see big improvements. Sometimes less is more 🙂

What’s the best way to get your stomach toned? Ahhh. You can’t just decide to lose weight around your waist and get a toned stomach unfortunately. You need to reduce your body fat percentage and the only way to do that is to exercise and eat healthy. Doing ab exercise will help, as well as weight lifting but you need to eat healthy in order to lose fat and reduce your body fat percentage and then you will see your stomach getting more toned.

How do you edit your pictures on Instagram? I edit most of my pictures with VSCO and after light.  I don’t always use the same filter though, what works for one picture might not work for another one.

Who takes your pictures? I take most of my pictures by myself. I either use my phone or I use my camera, my tripod and a remote. I learned everything by myself and I’m still learning but practice makes it perfect!

What are your tips to take a perfect Instagram picture? Lighting, composition and quality. I always try to shoot in the morning before 12:00 pm or in the afternoon after 4:00 pm. That’s when you’ll get the best lighting. Play with angles, find a cute background, take a ton of pictures until you get the perfect one! Don’t stand still and just smile, act natural and silly! Be more spontaneous! When you post on Instagram, remember that quality > quantity!

That’s it for today! I’ll try to do this more 🙂 Let me know if you have any other questions!

Love, Charlie
